Standard windshields are made with a vinyl resin sandwiched between two pieces of glass. The vinyl resin helps keep the glass in place during an impact. Once that vinyl resin is exposed the amount of protection it provides is reduced. It's important to fix any chips as soon as possible as a damaged windshield can impact how clearly you can see when driving, and the sunlight's reflection on the damaged glass can cause a distracting glare.

Is the cost of windshield replacement covered by insurance?
The cost will vary depending on your coverage. If you have full comprehensive insurance, the cost will be covered and you will simply have to pay your deductible, which may differ from your collision deductible. We suggest that you bring in your insurance forms to clarify your deductible or checking with your insurance provider to find out your coverage. We are a certified ICBC Express ship and can process glass claims in our office
How long does a windshield replacement take?
We estimate about 4 hours for a full windshield replacement. The actual glass replacement will take around one hour with an additional 2-3 hours to ensure full bonding of the sealants. Please note that some appointments can take longer if a recalibration of the vehicle's safety equipment is required.
What do I do if I don’t have insurance?
Insurance or not, we are happy to supply you with a quote for your auto glass repair. Insurance is not necessary for repair/replacement, but it will save you money in the long run.
Do you replace all types of car windows?
Yes! We replace any window on any vehicle including windshields, side windows, back glass, quarter glass, canopy glass, and even sunroofs.
